Since the Laptop is down, 50% of the day it MAY be on the IW Server. Its on there now, and I need to know if you are having a lot of slowness or is it ok? Also, is the IW forum normal speed too? I checked when 4 people were in there, and the Forum was normal!! And the server seemed fine too with little or no lag most of the time.

See, the forum has its own 'pool' of memory so the forum should be fine, but I'm just testing it. It'll still be on the main faster system 50% of the day.

God, if anyone has a spare 2Ghz system they wanna donate for the Mod... I'd LOVE to make enough donations --even a 1.8Ghz machine would do, ya know? I have loads of spare stuff--CD Drive and stuff.. Anyway, let me know about the speeds on here and the server for EfU.

Thanks!! :D

It was same old same old for me just then.

Level 3 was laggy then I got booted.

Other than that its great.

Edit 1 since about 6.30pm my time its been booting me out every 15minutes

Edit 2 The server has been REALLT Laggy tonight. Especially Skullport and southquarter. Once I left those areas it sped up a bit ( for a while I was the only person on)

Then another guy came on and it got really laggy again. Asked him where he was and he was in southquarter ( he was casting ALOT of spells though)

I havn't been booted for about an hour so thats good but the lag had been so bad its really hard to play.

Hay what happened to your server? I guess I need to read some of the Posts to see whats happening.
I just got on at 5:45 Talked to Duran for a few minutes and he wouldn't buy any of my stuff then it said site not responding and booted me.
It's sunday July 31 2004 and the night of the BLUE MOON (that's the second Full Moon in the same callender month}Could that have something to do with it? LOL I need to read the forum and see what's happened talk again in a few.

Z, so far the game has crashed 3 times in 1 hour. I am not sure what may be causing it, there have been other players on. As for me I have gone though skullport, killed lester, came up to finish the quest, then tried to go back to level 4 and the game has crashed each time.

Hey TCB,

Durnans store has been changed. The buying and selling store are seperate now. Check Durnans dialog for more info.

Cheers

Okay, in an hour or so, I'll move the server back to the Alienware speed machine ;) It was worth a shot, but it didn't work..

BTW, I tried to talk to Durnan while someone else was using him, and it also said "This person is busy right now". Its gotta be the server, so that will be fixed.

T-D-C, I got your PM, and will reply as soon as I got some time--I'm doing some work now and gotta get it done. I LOVE your ideas though, and actually thought about that too. It would make stuff MUCH easier.

*Cringes at these possable ideas* Ok when I give Z ideas and he loves them, I snicker to myself thinking about what characters will think when they com across said idea.

T-D-C, you got me worried buddy I cant wait to see what you came up with

You can have multiple people view Durnan's store at the same time. The reason you got a "This person is busy right now" is that the other player was still viewing Durnan's dialogue and deciding what to do. That's completely normal and not at all a server problem, nor is it in need of fixing.

I can assure you guys that the ideas that I've presented to Z will not result in Pit fiends serving us in the bar at Durnans and killing us if they don't get tips :) LOL.
