Is PvP combat allowed? Myself and one other fairly low level player are getting wasted in there by a character with some awesome spells, who's waiting around for a respawn and killing us almost as soon as we're back on our feet. None of my summons or trusty Roddy will recognise him as an enemy and he's much more powerful than us. After he wandered off, I respawned, healed my unfortunate friend back to life and we ran down to the 2nd level with him in hot pursuit. Then my darn computer crashed.

So is this all above board? And if it is, does anyone have any tips for taking on characters much harder than yourself?

I'am happy to say that pvp is not allowed on this mod.I think it is one of the better rules to have.I personally prefer to help out my fellow gamers instead of trying to kill them.As such if ever you see me on and you need a healer to resurrect you when those ummmm.terrible accidents happen to you that result in your untimely demise.Just give me a holler.I normally will be on as Mukasa Strongarm..all around loveable dwarf. The character was called Umbro the Destroyer and the logon was skysatelliteenabled as far as I remember. It was something like that, check for spelling and caps.

He did kind've apologize when he realised that we "weren't part of Halaster's creation" (his words) and asked me to "come back laddie" but I'd exited the game while saving my character and everything froze for me. He was RPing at least.

Hellball at will and other stuff that I was too dead to appreciate takes it too far though; mind you Implosion on lvl 2 is used by certain creations of a certain module creator ;)

I'm glad there's no PvP cuz I'm scared enough as it is with just the baddies. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Ubermunchkins really piss me off now. Especially when you can work around the PVP settings by using your "guantlets of unlimited Greater Ruin Epic spell" and they're sitting there zapping you, knowing you can't fight back because of the PVP settings. Grrr....

Hmmm... what was his name... he was using a drow character named Veldrin (doesn't help... sometimes I use a character named Veldrin too) with grey robes and two swords (had on-hit cast Harm?); sorry can't remember his logon name. Anyways, he said he was "role playing" an evil character which I could understand. But then when he started boasting about how we'd all be smoked if it was a PVP server and blowing us up with Greater Ruin... well I think he was just out to stroke his ego at that point.

Sigh. Well, I guess he felt better knowing he was invincible on a non-PVP server. ;P

I will try to spend more time in there. I usually love to pretend to be a noobie to others that do not recognize me.

I wish Ziroc could give me a sword of Chocolate might or something that I could use to slap those cheaters with when they mess with my gang.
