..superfluous. The tavern and basement are awash in money, and I haven't even been to lvl 1 yet. Maybe he could be changed to Mirt the Merchant.

LOL, I see your point. Level 1 characters see more money in the tavern itself than in most of their adventuring. I havent been to visit Mirt lately... been waiting for Z to expand the area a little. but you make a very good point.
