IP Address is: 65.32.176.202
Maximum Player slots: (12)
Type of Game: Roleplaying-NO PvP allowed.

Uptime--Usually 7pm-9am EST -5GMT (Or even all day, as I add stuff)

Or do a search for "Escape from Undermountain (Version number)
I am working on the 3rd level now.

We warned, 15 mins after it's up, we're slammed packed full, but keep trying every 10-15 mins. Everyone loves it so far!

The server is my PC I use here at home, and not the Forum server..

NWN Server specs are:

Pentium 4 2.4Ghz
512MB Ram
Dual 60Gb HD's Raid ON /1
Geforce4 4600 128MB Ram

It's been very fast with the allowed 12 player slots all filled--sometimes there is lag, but I am running all 12 player slots from a single Cable modem, so that is not bad.

Thanks Ziroc, I will try it out, see if I can actually play. Hopefully i might get more than 1fps. :(

I am looking forward to playing, but I have to wait for the Mac version to come out as only my G4 has an internet cable/broadband connection.

Ziroc, you say you have 12 slots on one cable, if I wanted to connect my PC as well as my Mac onto my Broadband via ethernet, how would I go about it, as far as I know I can only have my Mac, but I don't know much about it.

I have the PC version of NWN, just waiting for my Mac version, but ideally I would like to hook up both, I suppose I could always swap.

Meanwhile I will stand in a telephone queue to Blueyonder and try asking them the same question, but I know who will be able to give me a better answer, don't you?

Thanks

I managed to get in, too bad you don't have it set up as a private password protected server for IW folks only :( That would allow more of us to get in more often.

I still find the mp very hard to get accustomed to, communication is disrupted by miscelaneous tavern talk :( I did like the basement, until I started gettin whacked by some invisible force. One or two of those unseen attacks and I was toast (and with 77 HP's they had to be big whacks). Looking forward and trying again soon. :D

Those must have been from the Drow Rogue.. ;) Tough little buggers!

I agree about the Tavern talk--I think you can disable 'normal' chat right clicking on the split chat 'bar'. It IS annoying...

Is there a story to the module, or is it just random monsters? I played it for a bit with a 3rd level character and it was insane. There were drow, undead, orcs, and everything else all living on top of one another and randomly appearing on your character in certain spawn areas. Will there be a story? Will you be able to play with lower level characters? Seemed like way too many diverse monsters coming out of nowhere to me. Maybe this is just an experiment?

The tavern is cute, though.

Yeah, there will be a Story, that's what I am needing help on getting going.. Each level will be as 'deep' as the Tavern is. Lots of NPCs to talk with and stuff.. But Undermountain IS a very tough place, it's got all kinds of Monsters in it. See, Drow USE Monsters as 'fodder' for the 1st assult, then THEY pick everyone off.. :D but i'll tame the 1st level down. As so with the second level as well--I gotta just tweak the gameplay...

I booted 4 people last night, they were boasting that they edited their characters in the toolset and they had Imune to SPELLS (ALL) Weapons, Poison, Knockdown, ALL stats increased.. I freaking HATE people that do that.. it's like, WHY BOTHER PLAYING? nothing is going to hurt you, so save us and yourself the time and not log in.. (Gets a grip)..sigh... ok, I am fine now.. :D

I just tried logging in and it said 'server not responding', so i'm hoping that means its just temporarily down . Its through the 'join LAN' and then Direct Connect right?
If this is a server that means i cant export my gladiator....*sniffle* meaning i have to restart in multi-server , pooey!

correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't LAN stand for LOCAL AREA NETWORK? as in Pc joined to PC tho a cable?
