So i went and got vista...and i need to reinstall nwn2, but the keycode on the side of the book that came with the game does not seem to work. I vaguely recall one of the games i had bought in the last 6 months came with 2 key codes, but i cannot find the box to check if it had the extra code.
Anyone know how to get a legitimate keycode that works without having to buy the game again? |
Did they do the same thing with NWN 2 as they did with 1, and store your key code on their site? Other than that, it's the long drawn out battle with Atari over it, I'd imagine.

Have you made sure you're reading it correctly? All the O's are O's and not zeroes? Z is not 2, S is not 5... etc
|
yup, triple checked it and i dont see any errors in the inputting of the code.
How do i find out the code from their site? |
If you registered your copy on your forum profile you have access to your code iirc.
|
That's how it is for NWN 1 for sure. I'm not all that sure about 2 yet, but I'll know in a week or so.
|
Yeah you can register your NWN2 codes on the site.
If you still have your old install of NWN2 then check nwncdkey.ini file in your old NWN2 folder. Other than that contact atari and send them a copy of your CD key and/or proof of purchase and they can issue a new one. We will not be supplying any other way to obtain a CD key. |
Not even the offering a sacrificial goat method? I have heard that one worked for NWN 1. Just saying is all.

Ok maybe 2 goats
