This is the first time I have played NWN and I have just spoken to Maegel, at the other side of the well,I appear to have been everywhere and done most things, but obviously have missed the info regarding the name of the clan, where do you find it? On another matter I have been searching all over for Bran(the werewolf) and,yes I have been doing it at night, but cannot seem to locate him, any ideas. Thanx.

Maegel: you find info about the name of the clan in a book that it is found on a corpse in the cave. You must have the book in your possession when speaking to him for the correct dialogue option to appear.
the corpse with the book is found in the small room iclose to the centre of the map. It is possible you missed it.

Bran: are you looking in the correct cave. It is not the same cave a Maegel, but AFAIR it's the cave found in the norht east of the South Road area. And I think it doesn't matter whether you come at day or night.

Can you remember what the book is called I may have sold it?

Clan ? Are you talking about the Elk Tribe ?

And Bran can be found in a cave along the south road.

I do remember the corpse you are talking about and seem to remember picking up a book from him

Sorry johnny, i was in the middle of writing something when your reply came in. I do not know the name of the tribe, but it is now apparent I need to find the book, and I have sold things all over the place so it could be difficult.

If it's plot related, and gets lost, it may turn up in the Divining Pool. Not sure if it will or not, but it's worth a shot.

I loaded a saved game and checked.

The book is called "A Treatise on Forgotten Heroes". It does not look like a regular book, but is brown leather bound.
It did not appear in the divining pool after selling it, but you should have no problem rebuying it from the merchant you sold it to.

The tribe name is Mirialis, but you need the book in your possession to give the answer in dialogue.
