..having a little trouble beating this ione. I got him down to badly wounded but it took forever. any help on how to defeat it?

long time since i have played that part, don`t remember exactly.. but just try using magic potion to increase all stats, and to distract him, use a summoned creature or companion in the front:
stay in back with arrows and magic is easy enough `til you really find out how to finally kill him.

I appreciate it. You don't really need to kill it anyway, but exp is hard to come by in this game. I fought the bone version and it was much easier (also in tower when you smash the brazier).
