Hello, I am back at playing BG one once more, I have no patches installed, is there any patches recommended? or does it not matter?

I have the original 5 + 1 cd game...

The original release will need patched.

The 5+1 does need the patches. The original saga is 3 discs and do not need to be patched.

What difference do these patches make. They seened to be talked about alot. Does it take away from game play if you do not have them? What changes or differences does the patches make to the story line / game play?

<font color=lightblue>Patches don`t make any diffrence to the story. But they do affect the gameplay. They fix crashes in the game for example. They are not neccesary but very appriciated. </font>
