Naked female alone in cave with hairy monsters!

Ok guys my cleric with near zero strength has gone down into a cave of spiders in the beholder area

No magic is working, my belt of frost giant strength does not work nor bulls strength. My choice is nakid or weaponless :eek: how the hell do I win? with no dexterity I just get webbed every second :(

That was a very good way of getting people to look at this thread...

I kind of remember this place...the cave which strips away all magic abilities of ANY sort...item...weapon...clothing etc.

It was very difficult...however if you run to the end and figure out the puzzle you might be able to fight your way back out again...

I am a man of morals and would not recommend a lady going anywhere naked...maybe my be....(slap)

To make it worse because of low defences I get poisoned and my strength (ability) reduces again.

How do you sneak past the spiders? I cannot seem to do it

The little puzzle is your only hope. Fortunately, it's not too hard. As a cleric, you'd better hope the spiders are sleeping, my rogue got through it just fine...

Thats what I had to resort to Pritchke. And take out the spiders one area at a time. A very slow and messy way of doing things but I guess that was the idea behind the area. [img]graemlins/heee.gif[/img] I just think there would be a better way given my characters ability's (or lack of them)

So how did you manage the boss monster at the end of that level?

I got Sharwyn to help. I just stood back with my healing kits and fired off some bolts :D

I went back up to revive and unpoison people then back down to kill stuff from a distance if possible, then to the end to do that puzzle and get things working again!

It was tough, I recall saying a few choice things to my computer when doing it! LOL
