Okay, Okay. I spity on the statue just to see what would happen but like an idiot I had forgotten to save. Since I didn't want to replay what I already had, and since I thought it would only last for a short time, I just went with it. Now it seems I am p[ermentally cursed. Anyway of removing this? I am out of ideas. I can't cast spells since I am 5th level Ranger, and can't find anyone that can undo it.

Thanks,

Mercc

This is a bit of annoyingly poor design. You need restoration or greater restoration, but the only form of restoration available to most people is the pretty useless lesser restoration. And no-one in this section is providing temple services either. So your stuck with it for a while, i'm not sure when you will get it removed but Im pretty certain I found somewhere before the finalySoU fight.

As a Ranger I think you should be able to cast Remove Curse from a scroll, so look out for those as well.

I figured it would have to be a restoration so i tried the one I had but of course it was the lesser one.

I have found several scrolls but have not been able to cast any of them. At least they all are red outlined when I have my pointer on them in the inventory.

Oh well - onward and upward.

okay - I know lesser and the regular restoration do nothing for it. I am not sure but I may have tried remove curse also. Next thing to try in the greater restoration. If that doesn't work I am screwed. My own fault anyway.

Addendum -

The Greater Restoration did it. Next time I will save before I try something really silly, 'Just to see what happens'.
