I've tried several times to "enhance" my weapons (specifically adding to Angurvadal) and each time I have tried, the smith goes through his whole schpiel, and I lose the money, lose the sword, have the animated "cutscene", get the weapon back...

but it is no different. ie: there are no enhancements. am I doing something wrong here?
my Angurvadal and Blessing of the Daystar are having trouble doing damage to some of the higher level monsters.

Need help quick!

There is a limit to the number of enhancements that you can put onto a weapon. Either you are running into that problem or a random bug. I've run into problems with a similiar thing - pick the enhancement, pay the money, get the cutscene, then NADA ... however, a reload usually fixes the problem for me.

I had it once but after that time I never had any trouble with that anymore.
