Solve the scrivener quest in the beginning of chapter 3, then light a large fire in front of her, then you have to talk her into it.

chap 3.. did you find the doggy like demon? scuvger(something like that).. its on a hill of the frozen town and once you find the dog, help it.. u find her.

Once you free Aribeth from her ice prison, you will have to fight her. Once she is subdued, follow the dialogue path that says "Let Tyr decide". She should be restored to her paladin status and ready to join your party.
