i finsihed Shadows of the Undertide in 3 days with my character.. I was so impressed with it already and spend literally nearly 100,000 with new items from that game. I was so happy and saved even some more questionalble items which i may use for later use in the game.. now with my character equipped i was ready for HOTU when lo and behold.. at the very begining.. sniff.. all my precious precious stuff.. gone!!! :( :(

good thing a shapeshifter doesnt depend on the equipment but had i known.. ouch.. a big slap on my face with equipment gone.. :(

I do not recall getting my stuff back... Where do you get it back at?

In a drow encampment later on, there is a chest which contains your gear. You probably will have some better stuff by then, but theres bound to be some useful stuff there.

hmm? you mean the level 3 in rescuing the mad mage? i checked it out. i only got a fraction of my previous stuff. it didnt help at all and your right, my stuff improved... except some stuff i missed out. oh well.

Well my 16, 000 and some gp was all there but then, I played on version 1.59.

strange.. all i got was some armor which i had brought.. but all my bag of holdings and my micel items were gone. so was my scimitar and rings as well.

Containers will be missing. Everything else should be there, although IIRC some custom items can be missing. Remember that chests can have multiple pages, I never bothered to check, walked off and it just struck me as I was about to finish the chapter. GOod thing to, getting through chapter 2 without a decent stock of heal potions could be tricky.
