Enserric is mildly useful as a weapon, but I believe that I've promised to free him if I could. When doing the 'Maker Quest', at the very end, it looked almost as if I could have but that sword into the golum device & made a golem out of Enserric. Was that what I was supposed to do? What spells go into the 4 corners?

You could have freed him in chapter 2? Its a shame I never completed that quest, then.

i duno about making the sword a golem, but if you are an arcane spell caster, there will appear in the various chests on the previous dungean areas golem parts such as a chest, hands, legs. put those 5 parts along with the controller and cast various spells to change the attributes of the golem.
I think for example casting time stop gave it regeneration etc etc i dont recall what the various other spells did.

And what use is the Golem to player character?

hrm well...its basically another henchman
you can summon it by using the amulet (so long as its not been 'killed')
mine had 160 hit points and fairly good damage resistance (many fights it emerged unscathed)

Oh, and you can store 3 spells (up to 4th level) in it, itll cast those before it starts fighting melee

The quest to free Enserric was dropped by Bioware.

I love my pet golem! :D Talk about a melee machine!

There is a book in one of the chests that decribes what spells do what to enhance the golem. You can just go up and use the columns and it will give you a list of spells that you can cast on it.

I like my talking sword... Free Him?... what... you think I'm Lawful Good or something? [img]smile.gif[/img] I did power him up though, he's a tough little beast now, worth a couple mil.

How do you power him up?

I love his battle lines "I love the taste of elf blood in the morning, oh yes!"
