So, how many of you are running around with your almost uber lvl 20 chars, preparing them for the expansion's release? I want my char to jump to like lvl 30 when I load him, so I can see what a lvl 10 assassin, lvl 10 shadowdancer, lvl 10 rogue looks like! I'm getting anxious about it now, I want to know...

Well, I have not readied any character for the advance, but I do have my copy paid for at EB! I guess now that you mention it, I should be considering what I will do.

I am wondering how Ziroc's mod will change when this comes out. I'd be too scared to go there anymore.

Be sure to have a lvl 12 - 15 char at the ready for the singleplayer storyline ;)

Don't be scared Larry, some of us will be there to help out if needed. Remember, the dungeon may get harder, but we will be more powerful as well. As for the lvl 12-15 char, I've got a couple, but I figure to just re-run exp-1, and the interlude then the second expansion. The interlude being whatever Bioware uses to go in the middle of the expansions. I'm ready. :D

With all of the new feats, spells, and PrCs, restarting from the beginning of SoU might be a good idea. The Weapon Master PrC looks really intriguing.

This is what I have been doing for a while now. 2 characters: one my monk2/sorc13. (that will have the ability to tri to the new dragon class), the other will be my rogue 13/shadowdancer1/blackguard1. My monk/sorc. doesn't really need any items in NWN so I'll stick with the character I ran through SOU. The other character though I've planned on getting items available in NWN and in SOU. I'll take that character up through chap. 3 in NWN (w/out doing most quests) and then export over to SOU. (It will be way to powerfull for SOU but I'll crank the difficulty level to the max and only use low level equip.)

yeah I'm psyched!

Hey do ya'll know that BioWare is sponsoring a contest for module builders. The community has been challenged to make a module that will take a 12-13 lvl SOU character up to level 15 for the purposes of starting HotU. I hope it will be good.

I read about that over at Bioware, and it sounds interesting, but I'm not that good a builder, and am trying to be busy with other projects. But I am really ready for this expansion, I hope someone I know gets to write the interlude. That would be cool.

Never fear, I have my LG Drow Cleric, Level 20, ready and able to go. When is Bioware going to announce their "bridge mod?"

My character ain't really ready yet...but he will be when I'm done working him until he has a frickin' heart attack!
