Until Illumina finally writes the mod that upgrades the Butter Knife of Balduran to a +5 weapon against jellies, with a chance to spread them on contact, killing them instantly if there's a slice of bread nearby.
(It shouldn't be difficult to do that, actually...)

Maybe IT is that +2/+9 versus spam weapon I was thinking about a while ago...crazy General Conversation! But really, I have to ask...Shortsword profiency?????

Yes, until BG2. Then it counts as a dagger.
(Unless we can kick it up a notch and have forks thrown like darts, knives that are like daggers but not quite, and big spoons to use as blunt weapons. Then you create a new category called Utensils and you're all ready to go to the nuthouse.)

Ha!!! Feldepost gives you 500GP for the butterknife. He's been BURPPP! .. dippin' into his own ale!!!

Illumina Drathiran'ar 02-24-2004 09:33 AM

No, I think that makes sense. It's a relic of bygone days, owned by a famous figure. It would be kind of like Lincoln's hat.

RoSs_bg2_rox 02-24-2004 12:59 PM

ahwell, 500gp isnt that much in the game anyway, no biggie :D
