I saw this on the Bioware forum and thought it worth posting here.
Granamere When you open your Shadows of Undrentide box, be sure to take note of a red piece of paper with black print. It contains your Shadows of Undrentide CD Key, which you will need to install the expansion pack. The game installer mentions that the CD Key is in the manual, but this is not the case. Be sure to write your CD Key in your manual or somewhere you will not lose it. You will need it each time you install Shadows of Undrentide. If you did not receive this piece of paper, please consult the technical support section of your manual to contact Atari. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. You're right it is worth posting. They need to fix that though. Having it on the inside cover of the manual was a good method and alot will probably discard this piece of paper after a few days accidentally.

I hope you do not mind me pirating your thread, Granamere...this is a very good post, and I think I will let it live at the top for a while to make sure everybody gets the message.
Thanks! |
No problem.
Granamere Hey you are trying to steal what I have rightfully stolen. |

Got mine! The red paper is there too! The CD is in tact, and I have a long time to wait before I get home tonight.
I guess I'll start reading the manual... |

Watch out, I had to go with a clean install- so be ready for that. Back up whatever mods and haks you want to save before putting that disc in! Good gaming to everyone and see you next fall ;)

Got mine, paper there, and didn't have to do a clean install. :D Been having fun, too.

Well mine came with everything but I've been hearing terrible stories about people not just being left without a cd-key, but manuals too. Bioware are indirectly blaming Atari since "It's completely out of our hands" points the finger away from them and onto the ones in charge of packaging/presentation. Plus they're the ones who messed up the manual cd-key in the first place, forgetting it and then hastily throwing in a red piece of sheet.
