Hey guys,
This is somethin that has been bugging me for a while now no matter what i seem to try i cant enable the shiny water effect, anyone experienced similar problems and managed to sort it?

The shiny water effect depends on some features in the DX8 extensions. You'll need a newish geforce to enable it. A geforce4 or newer should work. And yes, there are also ATI cards that can do it, but I can never keep them straight. I do know that it can't be done on the cards that are supposedly equivalent to the G4 series, but newer ones can.

Which card do you have anyway?

Well my old Radeon 9000 had the shiny water effects, and it is pretty old, but it is probably as old as the G4's.
