have you ever wanted to have a weapon that did all status effects, or better yet a weapon that did everything and much more. it is easy, all you need to do is go to the toolset underneath the start game button and make your own mod. change its name from what it starts as, then just go to wizards tab at top and click item wizard. from there just customize the weapon to your liking and dont forget to click the box next to identify.the place the item on the map and save it. then start the game and go to other modules. choose yours and create your character. pick up the items and in the menu click save character. now start campaign and select your character from the premade characters phase.

Yeah, I know, but I've never used it myself...too cheesy. Besides, the items in the game are powerful as it is.

I'd only use it to create unique, but not overpowering, weapons for a character that I might want to roleplay seriously. This would allow me to give some proof of the character having a past. That sort of weapon with all of the effects will take all of the fun out of the game, unless your idea of fun is smashing everything you meet into itty-bitty pieces.

I did it if I had a weapon that was hard to find but only as powerful as I should normall be able to get from loot for example. Sometimes it's quite hard to find keen rapiers :D

I've only 'cheated' to add a few points so my character was closer to the ones I used when I used to play P&P D&D.
I might use it like philip says for a difficult to find weapon, like the *Light* sword from Wiz8.

I agree with Neo, I would only use this to help me roleplay better.

n00b ;)

You get it at the flying people's city in Wiz 7
That was the first RPG I really got into... I loved that old game... sooo many hours...

This is what really happens to the people who use "cheat" weapons.

Sword to Shield.

Sword: Hey shield, when you you think he will catch on that this guys only purpose in life is to carry us around.

Sheild: Tell me about it. Im more powerful than this fop ever could be.

Ivelliis 09-12-2004 12:49 PM

I'd probably only use it for RP, like
Name: Ivelliis' (or would that be Ivelliis's ?) Dagger/Sword/Bow etc.
Description: Ivelliis was given this weapon by his father when he....etc.

Creating weapons which are too powerful early on defeats the struggle of starting out with rubbish weapons and working your way up ;)
