What regulates merchant prices?
My Charisma stat and my Appraise and Persuade skills stay the same, yet the prices change. I always get a favorable merchant reaction.
Also, when I level up, and these do change my "sell for" price gets lower. Why?

Some merchants change their prices, both for buying and selling. It's not a question of your own skills but merely a reflection of the nature of the various shops.

I'm in chapter one, and all the merchants give me a favorable reaction but the half orc in the center zone, I've no idea why!
oh well.
