I to play BGI again, this time more specially. I've thought very much about combining like such: BG + TotSC + Latest patch + Dark Side of the Sword Coast + Ease of Use pack 2.1 + BGI With II Rules Mod

The problem is that I'm not sure if these are compatible with each other, if that's the right order of placement, or if DSoTSC is really worth it.

If you have anything to say to these three questions, please to so.

Thank you.

Right now I am playing:

BG1 + TotSC + latest TotSC patch + DSotSC + Harder MOD

It is a great combo. Harder has a lot of the features from Ease of Use pack (I guess - don't know much of EoU). In addition the Harder MOD lets you have the double amount of XP from the monsters (but you of course have to pay for that ;) The monsters get triple HP).

I'll say that this combo is quite beautiful balanced. You get better equipment from DSotSC and harder monsters + more XP from the Harder MOD

THANK YOU! That sounds like a cool combination!

Are you perhaps aware where I could get this Modification?

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to ask, does it include the Bag of Holding? That would be a great addition, especially if I'll want to go solo at some point

Sorry - no bag of holding.

You can DL and read about the MODs here:

Aww man.. Fileplanet.com is the only place where it's available, and every server has at least 40 minutes of waiting.

Thank you very much anyway! 2x exp and 3x enemy health sounds very fun!

By the way, what about DSotSC, is it good?

InsaneBane 02-03-2004 03:36 AM

Good???

If you like powerplaying, then it's very good. I like having a hard time against tough monsters and make a massacre when fighting a bunch of weak monsters. DSotSC+Harder contains both aspects.

BTW 40 minutes?? You can just have the SW DL while having breakfast. You do not - I repeat -you do not need to sit and watch the queue counter. The DL starts automatically when it is your turn ;)

Wow, that's great - I loved Throne of Bhaal :D

I'll most likely be thrilled by this combo, since when I last played BGI, I played with un-modded, un-expanded, un-patched version of it.

Time for real powerplaying, munchkin fun :D

Be very careful - some of the undeads are able to level drain your characters. Fortunately I had a save game from before I entered the new areas
