I know theres a quest to get the helmet for a guy called dagonfel(i think)but im buggered if i can find the guy anywhere anyone know where he is? Ive got the helmet already but want to do this quest for the xp(5000 i believe) as i can just get the helmet back from him.

The guy youre referring to is Degrodel found in the North West map of Baldur's Gate in the house which is standing alone in the central southern part of the map.

A tough fight awaits as you enter...

He offers you 5000GP (not XP) for the helm... you can give the helm to him, get 5000GP and then kill him before he escapes, to get the helm back.

found him think thats toughest fight ive had so far 2 helmed horrors 3 battle horrors and bout 4 invisible stalkers PHEW! took me a few attempts thnx again for the info

Hmmm - I still haven't done that side quest yet - no need to be so specific about the monsters you have to fight.
