I have the correct item. I click on it and drag it to the open chest and drop it. Nothing happens, the item is still in my invenory. I've even gone to talk to the statue anyway and we just do it all over again. What am I doing wrong?

How strange... But wait. You drag it to the open chest? Or you open the chest, see the chest's inventory (should be empty), drag the item over to the chest's inventory and it won't go in?

I knew it was something stupid. I was attempting to put the item in the chest not the inventory. Thanks for the assist!
