Would that be possible...I am quite tired of the weapon finesse feat not covering that scimitar...especially since my bro keeps on nagging me cause my cleric can bash is head in *LOL*

Anyway is it at all possible and could someone then perhaps tell me how to do it pleaz *S*

Stratos 01-17-2004 05:05 PM

It would perhaps be possible by editing some game files, but you're really breaking the D&D rules if you make scimitars finessable. ;)

And it might cause problem if you want to play online.

Hmmmm...I donīt like to do this...Donīt wanna break the rules...but I also see it as kind of a joke for Drizzt to be so good with those scimitars when he yilds no great bonus in strength...pheeow...but still I praise Salvatore for creating the adventures he has...next to Eddings he is my fav. adventure-author

::raises hand:: You could edit a rapier in the Aurora Toolset, make it do as much damage as a scimitar.

Sparhawk 01-18-2004 02:10 AM

*LOL* illumina....NICE touch with the hand....and yes I probally will tell my kid-bro to go suck on a dog-pooh or sumthin....just wanna get the creepo of my back....
*LOL* I wanted to play with him so much and he turned out to be jerky

Is possible but you may render your char illegal. It seems bic files don't like being modified. Why not simply re-create, level-up and import?

Illumina Drathiran'ar 01-18-2004 11:51 AM

C'est la vie. I stand by editing rapiers.
(Is it just me, or would "The Editing Rapiers" make a *great* name for a rock band?)

Stratos 01-18-2004 02:05 PM

Rapiers already do as much damage as scimitars and have the same critical range. Scimitars aren't finessable, though.

Illumina Drathiran'ar 01-18-2004 02:33 PM

... Are you sure..? I thought there was a 2-damage difference. Then what's the difference, and why would anyone use scimitars? Just to say, "My sword is bigger"?

"You overcompensating maybe?" -Cespenar the Imp

Illumina it is beacause my bro is such a Drizzt-fan that he wants him to be totally as in the books
