If you don't mind never reaching the higher level spells in one or both of the classes, then no problem. Very versatile, but each level you put in one of the classes is a level not put in the other class. And with the spell lists being based on levels, that means every level added to one class is that much spell potential lost in the other class. I usually avoid multiclassing spellcasting classes (except maybe to add a level or two of fighter, ranger, thief, etc. where you will still reach 9th level spells but will add some fighting ability).
