Is there somewhere in the game options to select a script like the ones in the other games (bg1 & bg2). Don't know where they are if there are any? LOL there are scripts that you can select right?

The scripts that are being posted here are for use inside of the toolset for making a new module. You can kind of do what you are refering to. Just click on your character to talk to them. From there you can tell them to either change their distance from you, change close combat or distance weapon and tell them to help out open chest and doors if you fail. You can download utilites that do modify some of these activites but the next real change to this will be when SoU releases.

For your main PC, not as far as I know.

For the henchman and familiars, Bioware didnt even do them a proper default script, to ask for options is asking a bit much of them.

Best you can do is search for the henchman AI& inventory hakpack. Works well, if a little clumsy on the inventory handling side. And the damn things still dont have a *clue* about how to act in combat. At least you can give them broad instructions now though.
