OK, tried out the demo, works ok, looks good, etc.
The question.

I have seen on the box that a 16MB video card is called for in the requirements.
My computer has a 8MB video card, but it handled the demo fine--yeah, the video options are all on minimum, so what. Anyway, based on this, can my computer handle the game?

Wow are u sure it handled it fine? Maybe the demo is purposely made to be non taxing on the video system because i've got a 32mb card and it just BARELY getting there and plus most of my settings are on low...i'd wait and see mate.

i'd certainly ask it on the bioware boards but when i asked a similar question ythere (if my pc can run the demo will it run the game) they said the demo was to see if you could run it. but this is really a strange thing so if i were you i would be very careful and make sure it'll run. also not all mods on the bioware boards are from bioware so i'd certainly ask it it there or send an email to bioware itself to make sure it'll work

Just how fast is the rest of your system, HW? I've seen some pretty crazy things (like Morrowind running reasonably smoothly on a PentiumII 350 ;) ) so I guess few things suprise me anymore these days.

For the record; I didn't actually 'see' the Morrowind thingie. But I've heard of it.
