I just started playing and I have some questions.
The Serpentcult in beggars nest is warded. How do I get in? I also wonder how to get in the othar building in graveyard. |

(1. You need a wardstone. Keep searching just south of that area. 2. You might need to speak to Oleff in the main hall (where Aribeth is) to get his quest, which starts at the Prison area.) Good luck. |
Ok here are some more:
When I played a long time ago, in the first chapter there was a gigant chessboard somewhere undergruound. im pretty sure i missed it. Where? About to finish ch 2 but i want to know if there is any important quests i might have missed. Also, which NPC should I bring if I am a Barb/Fighter? I do okay with Sharwyn, but suddenly her clothes turned bright red when I lvled up. Is this supposed to happen? (I can't seem to find that wardstone, any more help anyone?) Small, mediocre spoiler...
L A R R Y i s C O O L ! ! The chessboard is underground in the Prison District. There are two ways into the actual prison...and if you missed it...then you went the other way! [ 02-02-2003, 03:12 PM: Message edited by: Larry_OHF ] |

Sharwyn is an adequate companion earlier on due to her versatility and arcane spellcasting ability, but I'd be looking at getting a pure spellcaster if I were you - someone like Linu who can also fight melee very adequately is good, and her spells at the upper level are pretty awesome, and she will make every battle with undead a lot easier. Boddyknock is another alternative but once enemies get too close to him it's all over. ;) BTW, her clothes changing when you level up means that she leveled up too and got better armor. Still cant find the wardstone for the snake cult...where is it? what is the forged documents and bake recepie for? How do I get down to the chessboard? Is it worth going there? Ill take on linu then! by the way, is any of the weapons you can make by the blacksmith any good? I have the stonefire axe right now and I like it! by the way...where is the cure for bonerot? is it in the city? If it is i can finish the bard's quest and take up the cleric instead! "Red Shoes! The Angels Want To Wear My Red Shoes..."
When she turns red, talk to her. And then politely ask her to level up. You'll be glad you did. [ 02-03-2003, 09:21 AM: Message edited by: quietman1920 ] |
