are monks good? im gonna start with one. ive got a palidin at the mo.

monk is good , I find that by combining your monk with another henchman that does melee damage work better as both of you will be kicking everyone butt ( well almost everyone that is ).

ps, if you found some item that can give haste. make sure you get that item.

let the monk go unarm for max dam.. with all the feats they will kick butt unarmed...

The character I am currently using is a 14 level monk. I have tried a few other character classes and found that this one has been the most to my liking. I do not use a henchman; I do not like the way the computer controls them. As such, the monk is a character that is able to get by without a companion. I have run across a few battles where I found that retreat was the only option, but for the most part this is a good character class. Of course, that is just my opinion.

I agree with the others about using unarmed attacks. I have never used a weapon, except on chests.

Monks are really weak at low level, but at lvl 20 they can be insane

duelwielding kamas, and hasted with flurry of blows gives me 9 attacks per round [img]smile.gif[/img]

Monks are way overpowered.

There is one 'quest' where to kill the large golum creatres you have to find the wizard controlling it and slay him. The golum's are supposed to be indestructable, but my monk was able to kill them in a veeeeeery long battle.

is worth it to use two kamas?? or better just to use hands???

many say go unarmed

erm rokenn those golems are indestructible? even cheating you shouldnt be able to take them out, even hitting them with 1000 damage a time, how did you manage to kill them???
