I have a couple more questions:
1.If I wanted to make a necklace for someone that had a key on it to open a door, could I get it to open the door? 2.Can I make a castle on top of a mountain? If so what tileset do I use? 3.How do I model a long beard or a hat? 4. When you get a Robe of Archmagi, do you HAVE TO have White, gray, or black? what if I wanted green ones? 5. How do you teleport your PC to a battle arena?(like the tavern battles in BG2.) 6. Do you think a 5-6 level PC can take on a Lich? Thanks for any help you can give! |
Hi AGAIN Ryan, heh. Here are a few answers:
1)Easy, just give the amulet a tag (bottom right on the item wizard). Then when making a door, go to lock, select only opened by key, and type in the tag of that item. Then only that amulet will open it. 2)Hmmm, u could use a hak, or choose Rural, and make some raised ground. Then put something like a temple(good) on top and make and entrance through that temple, into the inside of the castle. 3)Well, there are some long beard and hat haks already at nwnvault, just go to http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/hakpack...ackslist.shtml they will have those things there. 4)Just edit the appearance of the robe, and change the colours to green. Or you could just make your own new one. 5)Hmmm, well, you could make an area transion into it, but you would have to enter the arena manualy. But you can also talk to an NPC and when you ask them to teleport you to the arena, you will go there. But personally I don't know how to do that. 6)Hmmm, Maybe a fighter with some spell resistance could, but a wizard might not. Just edit the stats of the Lich to make it a little weaker. A clue is to look at the CR (challenge rating) of the lich. If it is below 5 then yes, they probebly could take it on. Hope that helped. And I cant wait to play on your mod, heh. |
1) Yep, give it a unique tag, then enter that tag as the key for the door...
2) Tricky, see my other post... 3) Get a hak or model one... I can tell u a bit about modeling, but it's hard.... 4) Appearance editting, like obsidian said 5) Script an area transition... fairly simple I think 6) OUCH! |
