Is there a XP cap in NWN? if so what level can you get to? Do mages gain XP from learning spells like in BG1&2?

The maximum level you can reach, is level 20. Although NPC's can go above that. And as I put in your dragon post, you get about 150-400 xp, for learning spells, depending on your current level.
