I have a question regarding the Never's Tomb Quest; one of the artifacts can only be achieved by defeating 4 flying swords, but either I'm using the wrong tactics or I'm simply of a too low level to deal with them properly (level 5 fighter/level 1 rogue, with the Barbarian as my henchman). But now I'm wondering whether I have to wrap this quest up before going to the ritual chamber or not, I'm not sure if I'll be able to return to this tomb later on in the game... Do you have to finish all quests before going into the ritual chamber (you know, right after you've given Lady Aribeth the fourth component) or will you get a chance to finish several quests (including the Never's Tomb Quest) later on in the game?
And if you can't return later on, what kind of tactics did people use to defeat those swords?

If you want, you can give Lady Aribeth the last regent, and tell her that you have a couple of more things to do before you go to the chamber. Which will give you a chance to wrap up all your left over quests. Let me just remind you that your stone of recall is your best friend when dealing with the 4 swords. Good Luck!

when your higher level u can kill them; kill one and zone out, it gets easier once u have killed 1 hehe
but anyhow
if you dont want to kill the swords
just run in, get the item, and run out

Thanks for the advice...
How about henchmen, btw? Will I have to make a choice who to take along for the events from the Ritual Chamber on? I mean, I can't switch henchmen that easily anymore as was the case in chapter 1?

A tactic: upon entering run around behind the stairs where you enter - only one or two of the swords will follow you - then you should be able to pick them off one by one.

And leave the henchman outside - he'll just die if you bring him in.

I actually used the trick involving running to the artifacts and then flee like a coward. It suited me well, I guess. ;)

Its as easy as pie if you use the resist elements spell lol most of the damage you take from them is elemental and if you have items that resist certin elements atttack the other ones swords first.

Hmm, all I did with my fighter was have him run around as Tomi picked off the swords one by one. :D

Oh, I already realized the stuff about the elemental damage, I just went through my belongings and realized I had no resistance spells whatsoever for elemental damage, and I was too lazy to go and look for a merchant or henchman who happened to know more about it. ;)
