Im in Chapter two now and just talked with the person to the north of the main city. She told me about 5 tomes to find so she can make magical items. I just kind of figured i would stumble upon them eventually, but i just finished the are to the north of the city and the thing to east and found nothing. Supposedly i was supposed to find the resonance tome in the eastern part, but did not. Where are they all? I have yet to venture into the charwood where two of are supposed to be, but i was wonder would it be worth it to go back and find the Resonance Tome. What magical items can she make? Im a ranger/rogue dualing rapier / short sword.

The tome to the north is found in a tomb in the graveyard, on a lich. The tome to the east in in the witch's cave, in a bookshelf. In Charwood there are two books, one in each tower. I think the fifth is in Wanev's tower (found on the road to charwood), but I'm not exactly sure.

For a ranger/rogue, the tomes hold no real value. The items can only be made if you can cast magical spells, and they are all mage items in nature. I made a Staff of Power, which casts a few offensive spells, and I think a Wand of Lightning. Both are good items, but not likely to be much use to your character.

However, the gold and xp rewards from the quest are pretty good. I would complete it if possible, but don't worry too much if you don't. You get rewards for each tome.
