I read somewhere (the versus player guide) that druids could choose the maximize spell feat and have some of their spells maximized. Now when Itried it, there was no spells to cast (after memorizing and resting) in the metamagic section. I just want to know, can Druids use maximize spell, and if so, wot did I do wrong?

A Maximized spell is cast 3 levels higher than it would normally, so I wouldn't imagine you can use it for a spell higher than 6th level.

Wot I mean is that, it is not working altogether.

Look in your spell book, at fourth level spells. There should be a sub-menu of first level spells you can maximize. Memorize them in advance. You are not a sorcerer or bard who can do this on the fly. You are a traditional (divine) caster who must plan ahead.
