The other day I got to discussing this game (e-mail) with a long-time friend who also played BG & BG:II (including all expansion packs). We both looked back on the game playing experience, and both of us, since the first time we met Minsc (& Boo, too!) we had him in every party of every game. We miss Minsc & Boo...

And we miss the condescending Edwin, too. Especially when he showed us his "softer," more "feminine" side. [img]smile.gif[/img]

No. We miss Minsc & Boo. We have a bunch of vanilla henchmen and weak NPCs. No one to sink your teeth into... Minsc's crazed ad/or lunatic comments... Edwin's mutterings and self-superiority...

I'm wondering if their voices and dialogue's could be ported into a mod...

yeah... I was lamenting the same, I liked to travel with minc and boo, the intellegent(allegedly) sword lillcor, and no one else.

well if one thing was clear from the outset it was that NWN just did not have the same character and charm as the BG series.

Once again nobody would read but yeah Minsc and Boo would be cool. They could have put him as a NPC i guess, since there all on the same realm but then again i wonder if the time periods are different, like in the wheel of time...

I do not think it is really wanting Minsc & Boo so much as having lively NPC's not just brain dead ones. Come on give me an NPC with a wand of wonder!
