Im new to the game but workin on it wanted to know a few things and hope to be able to help others with things soon.

I know from posts that you can create weapons how early in the game and is there a blacksmith in chapter 1 if so where.

as soon as you have a magic weapon 500gp and the items the blacksmith needs you can start forging new weapons, some are good, some are kinda weak (the ironwood dire mace), you'll need to finish at least one of the districts (peninsula is probably easiest) in order to get components and cash.

He is in the back room of the Shining Knight - you need to talk to the merchant (about special items) to gain entreance.

The smith can give you a book thet contains all the different weapons and armor that he makes.
