Just ordered TOTSC and expect it next week. Do I have to start a new game after installing it or can I keep playing the current one? Thanks for advice.

You can continue on your current game. Just remember to run the MConvert on your save file. It'll automatically give you the chance to do that in the installation. Have fun DT and UB are some great areas.
