If you don't do the monk's (Grimgnaw) quest in Chapter 1, does that mean you can't do any quests for him in Chapter 2? I don't even remember seeing him in Chapter 1, but picked him up in the second chapter. He kept saying he would talk to me later and whenever I would try and talk with him, that's all he would say. Now the only option I get is something about what is your opinion about what I should do and Never Mind. I think I have levelled up twice already with him and still no go.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Lady Avalon I don't know the direct answer to your question but i noticed this.

For some henchmen, it's really easy to do their quet time wise. For example i got the bread recipe for the sorcerer bloke. I just went to him and added him to my party and spoke to him 3 times (took 2 min) and got my lovely ring

But for Linu it took AGES! She wasn't ver forthcoming, lucky i had her as my fav henchman or i would never have had the patience.

if you don't do a henchmen's quest in chapter one, you can't do any quests for that henchmen. (same holds true in following chapters)

grimgaw is in the trade of blades in a seperate room next door to sharwyn.

the quests are also level dependent, 6,9,12 iirc.

that is in chapter one you can talk three times to any of the henchmen and get the quest if you are of level 6+, chapter two it's 9th, chapter 3 it's 12th. (i may be wrong on the chapt 3)

you have to be a certain level for the henchmen quest dialogues to come out completely. lvl 6 or 7 should be plenty to get all the dialogues in chapter 1
