.. . . . .. . . .. . . .. . . .. Tell you the murdered dude spiked Rolgan's drink, making it impossible for him to make rational decisions. Then talk to all the judges (the complete list is found in the journal the priest dude gives you) and some of them can be bribed to find Rolgan innocent. |
SPOILER
> > > > > > > > > > > > > > Copied this from another thread, which was copying another thread, etc. This one comes back up from time to time, since this it the closest thing to a true thinking person's quest in the game, though I think the Creator Ruins (where you go back in time) have decent mental puzzles, too. ************************************************** **************************** [Spoilers ahead] - copied intact from Bioware NWN forums . . . . . . . . "It took me a while, and a bit of trial and error (if you'll excuse the pun) but I finally managed to win Rolgan's trial with everyone voting innocent, and without bribing any jurors. Here's how I did it... Before the trial. Talk to all of the witnesses and jurors and be nice to everyone. Talk to Lodar and keep buying him drinks until he tells you about how racist Griff is, and how Griff spiked the drink. During the trial. Lodar: 1. Ask him how Griff felt towards Rolgan. A supplement question should pop up. Sort of an Insight one. If it doesn't then you might need to raise your stats so it does. 2. Ask if it was true that Griff spiked the drink. 3. Ask if he saw who started the fight. Don't ask the other questions. Zed: 1. Ask if he saw who started the fight. 2. Ask if it was true that Griff spiked the drink. Don't ask the other questions. Vanda: 1. Ask why she sent her husband to see Griff. Don't ask the other questions. Call Rolgan. Rolgan: 1. Ask what happened that night Don't ask the other questions. Closing argument: 1.Say that we know Griff was a violent man. 2. Say that we know Griff spiked Rolgan's drink. Don't say anything else. You should have now won the trial with all the jurors voting innocent. Hope this helps." As an aside, you can only get Zed's info about his leg if you can heal him; healing kits or spells will work for sure, not sure if a potion will. Enjoy!!! |

Healing the leg wasn't necessary to getting the 5 lights (cos I managed it via 2 run throughs last night)- plying the other guy with liquor was though. Zed will still answer his two questions correctly. The key is not to branch into talking about diminished responsibility (ie that he was drunk) and not to talk about it being a racist trial - either of those threads fot negative responses from different jurors.

Okay, make everyone just tell what happened. You don't even have to call the wife or the defendent. Just the witnesses who didn't see the fight start and knew that the drink was spiked and that the victim was known to hate the Uthgart.
The jurors hate "racism" and "diminished responsibility." If you're evil, it's easy to get him killed... |
Er... i seem to have slipped into Chaotic Evil during my travels, will that effect the trial much?
