I rescued a bear, wolf, panther, and a lion but when I go back and talk to the druid he tells me to go rescue them again :-/ anybody know if this is a known bug?

Did you use the scroll on the tree? Did you leave the door open to the tree? Did you go outside to see them depart? Are you sure that you "talked" to all of them and told them to go, instead of to wait for you to make the coast clear?

Only thing I can think went wrong is my ranger freed the bear first and then I used my ability to charm animals to charm it. But I then walked the bear to the tree and then released it from my control and then talked to it and told it it was free and to use the portal. then I went back and told the rest to go. followed them and then told them to take the portal. they all did and then the portal dissapeared.

Damn looks like I am going to have to reload :-/

My druid - Used Animal Empathy to lead the animals out, one by one - Had the same bug - Could not solve the quest.
