Right, is it at all possible to get your wisdom up? Not by wearing any items or making your character illegal? I'm at lvl 20 now and i'm a Druid. Plz, Plz, Plz. Help

P.s. Dont say start again with a new character!!

Yes, It can be done. It will make your character illegal for server play. YOu will also bear the psychological scars of cheating for the rest of your life. At $150/hr+ for psychiatric help, it may not be your best alternative. However, this is how you do it:

DebugMode 1
~
SetWIS 19
~
DebugMode 0

Maybe if you lower a different variable. I'm not sure. I'm working on a new experiment. I'm not going to go to server. Don't have the time. YOu might parallel me by making a new save gave and experimenting on your own.

ADVICE: Make a new save game and experiment with that character. Not the one you want to fix.

YOu might want to try the dm_modifyWIS command and the dm_modifyXXX where XXX is the 3 letter (all CAPS) abbreviation. YOu can use + and - variables. Such as dm_modifyWIS 3 and dm_modifyCHA -3

I don't know if there is a command that can unlevel you. I don't know them all.

I think when you cheat it must toggle a flag in the save file. I haven't hacked them out yet to check. Cheating will definitely make your character invalid for multiplayer and will even block you from going into a new chapter. I tried changing the str on mine and then changing it back using the cheats and I was still invalid.

Maybe someone here has found a way to remove whatever toggle is used when you cheat.

So, obviously, has anyone found out a way to make your character legal after editing. I am not cheating big time, all I want is a high Wisdom. My druid is pathetic in spells, he can only get 2 lvl 9 spells because he has a low wisdom, thats all i want to cheat for!

I believe there's a walkthrough at GameFAQs.com that includes cheats like character editing, and a way to make that character "legal" after being edited (at least to go between chapters). I have no idea if it will make the character legal for server play, however.

I haven't looked, myself. All "cheat characters "are to try out different possibilities. There's no way I would cheat with a "keeper" character. Where's the joy of accomplishing something with a phoney character?

You could try making a module and creating an item that gives a plus to wisdom permanently. I haven't worked with the editor much, so I don't know if this is an option. If it works, load your character into the module, get the item and use it. Then load back into the main game. Make sure you do this near the beginning of a chapter, because you can't load into the middle of one in a single player game.
