i cant remember where i ran into him but a lich (i think) called brother teos has a challenge rating of impossible...he is also surrounded by heaps of undead...i managed to lure them away and dice them up..but teos cant be killed.....at least i dont think he can.........looking for advice.......why put unkillable enemies in the game? all tips appreciated.

<font color="lawngreen" face="trebuchet MS">Th challenge ratying means Jack.... all that means is (obviously) their challenge rating is higher... and all that means is you get more XP for killing them [img]smile.gif[/img] .... they can be weaker and a lower level than you but still be rated impossible.... but thats not the point... if he is an ENEMY he shouldnt be unkillable.... if he is NEUTRAL he may be a plot character.... I personally dont remember running into a borther Teos... but if he is a hostile he shouldnt be invincible.... if yellow/ornage 0's are shown instead of damage then he is a plot character and is truly invincible... if there is just no damage Numbers coming out from him he is merely either absorbing all the damage you are giving him or is immune to that certain type of damage for a period (or has it permanately) </font>

I remember this guy. His name is Toras and he is located in the *arcane brotherhood tomb* or something like this - he is *killable*.
I just lured away his undead minions and killed them as you did. I can´t recall all his immunities but he was immune to a LOT of things. I used all my heavy artillery - I was a mage / thief then - and had Linu as henchwoman. I had to reload 3 or 4 times but at last he was dead. He has 2 quest items in his treasure as far as I remember.

He can be killed

It is important to be immune to Mind-Affecting Spells (potion of clarity) and resistant to elemantal damage (reduce damage from his spells)

I just killed him with my lvl 10 druid. He squealed when I used Flame Strike, and Melfs Acid Arrow (he has no acid immunity, and I had a staff with some charges of it). He also squealed when my big bear with 29 Strength bashed him a bit, but otherwise he seems quite resistant to most things I threw at him, including call lightning, all mind-spells, and he has quite a good fortitude save, so slay living didnt work either.

But once you found his weak spot, he was no biggy at all.
