I hear tale that Windows ME may cause problems when trying to play a multi session. Maybe it is the combination of the Windows ME and a Dell computer...I don't have facts to supprt it, only speculation. Can everybody that is running this system please post below? I would like to see how many people use ME successfully, and moreso if it is on a DELL PC. Thanks |
I use ME (on a medion PC) and have had some problems with freezing/crashing - but they have (mostly) gone away.
I haven't played multi yet. |
One thing I learned just now is that Windows ME will not run well on certain computers. NOw, the Hewlitt Packard comes with Windows ME already installed on it, and is one of the few PCs that has no trouble with that OS...but other PCs can have trouble, as I continue to learn.

my office pc ran ME. I fell down to my knees and praised God/Allah/(insert your deity here) the day I got an upgraded pc that ran '98

I run NWN on a HP Presario with Windows ME. No probs since I got the new video card.

I run Windows ME on a Dell with no problems. None. I've only played in single player. 800 MHz system. I had some freeze up troubles with BG II, but since I've upgraded to a GeForce3 Video Card and RAM to 256 mg.
