ok heres the problem. im running trilogy and need to clua to cloakwood mines cos it aint workin cos i didnt have the patches when i started. So anyway i have a complete list of area codes for both bg1 and bg2 http://www.teambg.net/forum/?board=2...;threadid=2465 good i thought. Il just put this in and itl be fine. However i put it in AR1800 and it took me to North Forest which is in bg2. strange i thought so i tried agen and it did the same. So i looked at the list and discovered it had the same clua code as cloakwood mines. So what can i do? Does anyone have any suggestions? I think there is a way to do it usin CLUA even though im usin trilogy because i have the Ulgoths Beard (ARU000) and Durlags(ARD000) codes and i tried them to make sure they worked and they do. I tried ARC1800 for the mines but it didnt work, so what should i do?

the Area file is probably renamed. I'll travel to Cloakwood and look it up for you :D

Area code for Cloakwood mines is AR8600.
Have a nice trip :D

cheers man! how far are u in the game btw? Iv explored every single area cept baldurs gate, durlags and ulgoths. My guys all kick ass (like level 7) Imoen is level 7 thief, level 4 mage. Did u let her dual?

I have finished BG1 and TotSC now but the transition though nicely coded is still kind of buggy and I am not sure if I will travel out of Irenicus' dungeon or just stay there and start my evil party (for which I have rolled an elven assassin with total stats of 97!!!).
As I see it there's little other choice than letting her dual. She checks back on you every two minutes before she makes the speech and every 20 seconds afterwards (without pausing I couldn't even finish the dualling).
I just made sure that she had 100 in lockpicking and finding traps. My PC is a brad so there's my pickpocketing and if I really want backstab I probably use Valygar. Setting traps would have been great but it's too much potential cheese anyway :D

I have the game now for only a few weeks but when I'm on a Baldur's Gate run I'm playing day and night. Did not miss a single quest in BG1 and don't plan to do so in BG2.

i've been playing for about 2 years I think, but I'm sure i havn't completed every quest ;)

its impossible to do every quest in the game unless u take all (well maybe not all but a lot of ) the npcs in the game. I can certainly think of one thing that is impossible unless u take a certain npc, actuallly two at the moment and that was without really thinking about it.
