OK I'm getting sick of doing this part over and over again. I'm at this point with this trial of an Uthgardt; spoken to everyone on both sides, witnesses, etc., but I must be quite a shite lawyer cause I can't acquit this guy LOL! And I can't try to bribe cause it moves my alignment 3 points towards evil, and I'm a Paladin so that's no good. Maybe I needed to pump more certain info from the witnesses? Seems every combo I use in this "trial" as an answer doesn't pan out successfully. Anyone have any ideas or know the correct answers the jury needs to hear to win this case? Should I e-mail Johnny Cochoran LOL?

I've seen a write-up describing the exact sequence of questions to ask and who to question before the trial. I'll look for it again and post it when i find it.

If you liquor up one of the witnesses he tells you some damning evidience you can use at trial.

Actually two of the witnesses (one is at the tavern and will talk if you by him drinks, I forget the other one) will tell you the gaurd guy spiked the barabrian defendents drink before the game. At the trial ask them about this and the jury should swing favorable for you. Also avoid implying racial bias, it seems the more you remind certain jurors the fellows a barbarian the more likely they are to shift to guilty regardless of the evidence.

"It took me a while, and a bit of trial and error (if you'll excuse the pun) but I finally managed to win Rolgan's trial with everyone voting innocent, and without bribing any jurors.

Here's how I did it...

Before the trial.
Talk to all of the witnesses and jurors and be nice to everyone. Talk to Lodar and keep buying him drinks until he tells you about how racist Griff is, and how Griff spiked the drink.

During the trial.

Lodar:
1. Ask him how Griff felt towards Rolgan. A supplement question should pop up. Sort of an Insight one. If it doesn't then you might need to raise your stats so it does.
2. Ask if it was true that Griff spiked the drink.
3. Ask if he saw who started the fight.

Don't ask the other questions.

Zed:
1. Ask if he saw who started the fight.
2. Ask if it was true that Griff spiked the drink.

Don't ask the other questions.

Vanda:
1. Ask why she sent her husband to see Griff.

Don't ask the other questions.

Call Rolgan.

Rolgan:
1. Ask what happened that night

Don't ask the other questions.

Closing argument:
1.Say that we know Griff was a violent man.
2. Say that we know Griff spiked Rolgan's drink.

Don't say anything else.

You should have now won the trial with all the jurors voting innocent.

Hope this helps."

As an aside, you can only get Zed's info about his leg if you can heal him; healing kits or spells will work for sure, not sure if a potion will.

Enjoy!!!

Wow thanks Micah!

You're welcome Lady Z, although the true credit should go to the original poster on the Bioware forums. I just copied it here for you. Hope that works for you.

Yes but you took the time to go there and copy and paste here, so again, thanks! I can see by your answer already that I apparently didn't talk to Lodar enough, nor get him drunk LOL, so that is I bet the key that opens up more answer options during the trial. I'm off to bed, will put on my helmet hair and suit and kick ass in that trial tomorrow. :D Thanks again Micah, you rock! :D

<font color="white"> Actually, if you are playing neutral, that is a great way to knock your alignment back down if it has been edging up towards good. :D
