Once in IWF, i heard someone say that Good-aligned characters get better stuff from boxes and chests. I did a Chaotic Neutural Mage, and after that, a Lawful Good Paladin. I *think* that my Paladin got better stuff than the Mage but i can very easily be wrong.
Does alignment affect the game in any way? Does something dramatically change if my good/evil alignment scale goes from 100 to 0? What`s the max number, anyway?

the max number is 100 for eather good or evil lawfulness and caoticness don't change for some odd reason. As to the Palidin getting better stuff it is just that mages get the low end of the stuff because they can't use as much of it cost wize it is about the same i ended chapter 3 with 500k gold with a soc. so i believe it is even just distributed differently.

it only affects how other npc's react to you and how much equipment costs in shops, nothing to do with chests etc afaik

the game tailors stuff for your char, depending on the weapons u use, and your class, fighters tend to get bigger/more armor and weapons, mages get more scrolls/wands/etc.

Hmm, so, basically, Fighters get more expensive stuff..

It affects shop prices???
