I posted a question on this, and, apparently, there is no XP cap as such, but you cannot go over level 20 in any class. I don't know if you could then dual over, say from Paladin to Cleric.

no you cant. once you reach level 20, that is it
you can have a 10th level monk, 10th level thief, or whatever, but the sum of all the classes combined cannot exceed 20. this leaves room for the expansion that is suposedly in production.
