In the temple of Helm, came across stuck demon. Any best way to go? I am trying to regain my CN alignment, so suggestions?

Did it by freeing him, gained stats then also banished him...anyway better?

either finish the summoning

banish it and summon helm's spirit (has a nice ring)

What about that altar that's right in front of the main entrance (4 armours around it). What can you do there?

There's an etched gem in the courtyard. If you put on the alter, the armours will go and kill all the false Helmites for you. BTW they are not protected by the no PVP rule so area effect spells can turn them hostile.
