any one know where i could get a map of faerun...either on the web or which shop could buy it in?......New to the whole dd world i rember reading a couple of dragon lance books a long time ago....not sure if they are set in the same world though....any help would be most appreciated.. ;)

Well if you like the Faerun world you can always check out the Forgotten Realms Campaign book from Wizards, there you have maps and detailed region descriptions, stats and everything. Costs though... But it is good if you like 3:Ed and D&D

The best way to learn about the Forgotten realms is to read some of the forgotten realms novels, mainly R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt books. The latest book "The Sea Of Swords" actually takes place in the sea of the same name just outside Neverwinter.

Btw the Dragonlance and the Forgotten Realms (Faerun) worlds are completely separate.
