I was wondering what people though of it. I have a few specific questions though.
1) How is the single player game? 2) I hear that you can basically create your own game with this program. However, I don't want to do that. I'm lousy with computers and it's not fun to play a game you know the ending too. Is this going to be like a lot of individual players will post games they created and then people can dl and play them as if they were mods. 3) I know it's supposed to be really good for multi-player, but I don't have friends who play this game. As a single player, am I going to get a lot of good use out of it? 4) Knowing where I'm coming from, should I buy it? Thanks a lot for the tips. I've been pretty on the fence with this game. I just can't tell if I'll like it and I don't want to spend all that money just to find out. Thanks again. |
Another question...
I'm reading older posts and hearing this stuff about henchmen and how you can't give them items. Do you still get NPCs you can outfit? |
1) Single player was great, I think I'll play it through about thirty times before it starts to get boring.
2) You CAN create your own game with the Toolset. Don't worry...even if you're bad with computers, there are others who will make them for you. 3) You can make some gaming friends on Ironworks! 4) I have no idea...if you can get a copy, I would say yes. Another question) You can't outfit them. They get their own items. Don't worry, their equiptment is good...and it saves you the expense of buying things for them. |
Im annoyed with single player at the moment... I seem to be... 'sent' out looking for picky little items, when I want to go strait to Aribeth, and cut tho an army at the same time. not that Im giving anything away here... but I seem to be continually told to 'find things' and bring them back, sorta like a dog. I dont like it. other then that, its great.

I know what you mean, it gets a bit tedious after awhile, but I have no idea what else to put in a RPG. Its always been: Talk to people, get an errand, or escort someone to somewhere, go back, get your reward and kill lots of monsters/bad guys while doing this. I think the story and the world your playing in makes the difference, and for me it is just perfect in Neverwinter. I am going to play more then once through the single player and I am sure we will have great mods from fans. So my advice to stravid: If you can get it, buy it!
